Twelve people, plus Avis and Walt, gathered for a visit at our apartment. Each introduced him/herself to Avis and related how many years they have been part of the Quito congregation. Avis in turn related of her coming into faith. Walt used PowerPoint to introduce the Lampi family and facts about our area, the Ishpeming Congregation, and the purpose of our trip.
A discussion followed about what the mission focus should be. It was heart warming. Walt kept a sermon from Matt 6.
Avis and Veronica prepared a late afternoon lunch. The Rice Crispy bars were a big hit!
