We walked to the supermarket, SuperMaxi, to do more grocery shopping. I had to wear my Stormy Kromer because of the direct rays of the sun near the equador and the high elevation. Later I bought a more appropriate hat for Ecuador. I got a lot of looks though.

Later we road the bus and trolley into the center of the city. There is a lot to see. Fares ranged from $0.25-0.65. Definitely need a guide, though, plus there are thieves about even in the day light. We visited a bank museum which detailed the history of money in Ecuador. Then we visited an extremely old and ornate Catholic Church.
