The Milton and Alicia Martinez Family

Milton and Alicia have three daughters: Pamela, Eylin, and Katherine. Pamela is a third year environmental engineering student, Eilene is in 'high school', Katherine is ten years old and goes to school in the afternoons for about 6 hours!

School is demanding in Ecuador and it was obvious from our visit at the Hernandez home that the girls took their studies seriously.

School uniforms are the norm in Ecuador and one can readily recognize students as a result.
If your grades are good enough you can go to a university free of tuition costs. One must pay for books and other incidentals.
